About Us
At Lazy Day Persians & Himalayans, our mission is to raise and provide families with healthy, well-socialized Persian and Himalayan kittens of exceptional quality.
From birth to adoption, each kitten is nurtured in a loving home environment, ensuring they are accustomed to daily handling and care. Because our cats are part of our family, they develop the affectionate and gentle personalities that make Persians and Himalayans so beloved.

Health Guarantee
At Lazy Day Persians & Himalayans, the health and well-being of our kittens is our top priority. All of our breeding cats are carefully screened and tested before entering our program. Each one is:
- PKD tested prior to breeding and confirmed PKD-negative
- Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) free
This ensures that every kitten we raise comes from a healthy, sound foundation.
Our kittens receive age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming before going to their new homes. We are committed to producing not only beautiful Persians and Himalayans, but also kittens with excellent health and wonderful temperaments.
We proudly stand behind our kittens with a written health guarantee, so you can feel confident knowing your new family member has been given the very best start in life.
Pricing and Availability
On average, our kittens are priced between $1,200 and $1,600, though prices may vary depending on the individual kitten.
To reserve a kitten, we require a non-refundable (but transferable) deposit along with a completed purchasing application. This ensures that each kitten is matched with a loving, committed family.
We do not ship kittens; however, families are welcome to fly into Springfield, Missouri to pick up their kitten and travel home with them in the cabin.
